He has a specialist interest in forensic mental health, with expertise in working with individuals who present with complex needs such as personality disorder, trauma histories, and neurodevelopmental conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Paul is particularly skilled in schema-informed formulations and trauma-focused approaches, and has a proven track record of working effectively with both male and female patients in secure mental health services.

Dr Paul Farrington is a Forensic Psychologist, Chartered with the BPS and Registered with the HCPC. He has extensive experience in forensic psychological assessment and intervention across secure mental health and criminal justice settings. He is trained in a wide range of structured risk and psychological assessment tools, including those for the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
