Meet Bal Sanderson

Bal is a BPS Chartered and HCPC-registered Forensic Psychologist, with over 16 years of experience working in a wide variety of forensic settings. She specialises in the risk assessment and treatment of sexual and violent offenders, and has worked across all levels of security within the NHS, public sector prisons, St Andrew’s Healthcare, and community settings. Bal has also contributed to the Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) pathway, providing interventions within the prison service and consultation to probation services.

Her career spans roles within the NHS, public sector prisons, St Andrew’s Healthcare, and community services, working across all levels of security. She has also delivered interventions and provided specialist consultation as part of the OPD pathway.

  • Bal specialises in forensic risk assessment and intervention, with expertise in cases involving sexual and violent offending, personality disorder, and complex presentations within secure and community environments. He also has experience providing expert witness reports for the courts and parole board.
