Meet April Phillips

April is an HCPC-Registered Forensic Psychologist, currently practising independently. She has a broad range of experience across forensic and clinical settings, having worked for His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and the NHS, where she provided treatment to both male and female forensic patients detained under the Mental Health Act.

April is skilled in the assessment of violence, sexual violence, and intimate partner violence, as well as in assessing individuals with cognitive challenges. She has extensive experience delivering and supervising both accredited and non-accredited offending behaviour programmes, alongside providing bespoke, one-to-one psychological interventions for clients with complex needs, including those with neurodiversity.
